Third Annual Loyola University Chicago History Graduate Student Conference

The History Graduate Student Association of Loyola University Chicago
invites colleagues in history and related academic fields to submit
proposals for individual papers to present at the third annual Loyola
University Chicago History Graduate Student Conference on April 28, 2007
at the LUC Lakeshore campus in Chicago. The organizing committee is
seeking proposals related to the conference theme from masters and
doctoral graduate students in any field of historical study. The goal of
this conference is to provide an opportunity for students to gain
experience presenting papers and receiving feedback from their peers on
their work. Sessions will include Cultural History, Social History,
History of Race and Ethnicity, Gender and Sexuality, Public History,
Medieval History, and other topics, TBA.
Proposals should include the name, contact information, and institutional
affiliation(s) of the presenter and a one-page abstract of the paper (with
a title). Include with your submission a brief biographical statement
indicating your academic status along with a return address and a current
e-mail address. Please note that submissions will be accepted as time and
space permit.
The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2007. Proposals should be
emailed as an attachment to History Graduate Student Association Vice
President Jason Myers at jmyers3@luc.edu. Proposals can also be mailed to:
