Asian Educational Media Service/Education About Asia
Special Media Section: Spring 2008

We are seeking reviews for the expanded media section that will be published in the Spring 2008 issue of Education About Asia. This section is sponsored by the Asian Educational Media Service (AEMS). Reviews may address the use of feature films, documentaries, CD-ROMs, podcasts, and web sites in teaching about Asia, with an emphasis upon classroom use. Tanya Lee, Program Director of AEMS, will be editing this section.

We welcome manuscripts on all areas of Asia and on a wide variety of topics. Reviews should run approximately 500 words (two double-spaced manuscript pages); essays should run about 1,000 words (four double-spaced manuscript pages). Before beginning a manuscript, potential authors should check with both Tanya and Lucien to ensure that we do not already plan to publish an existing review of the same material in EAA or the AEMS newsletter. It is important that any prospective author read the author guidelines posted at the EAA Web site, http://www.aasianst.org/eaa-toc.htm). Submissions should be sent by email attachment to both Tanya Lee and Lucien Ellington by no later than December 20, 2007.
